August 2: First Day on Nantucket

Ugh I had to wake up before 5 this morning. Maybe you know what I mean when I say this, maybe you think I’m an old grouch(I really am only 18), but the biggest problem with going on vacation to Nantucket is I know too many people through other things like schools and camps and am stripped of any anonymity. I wasn’t on the island 10 minutes before I saw the first person I knew, but didn’t really want to talk to. Whatever, the beaches are beautiful, I get to read for a few days, and then I have one or two friends(who I want to see) coming over.
