Scanned 4×5 Film from my Pinhole Camera
by Ian Maclellan
I scanned about 35 sheets of film, here are 19… The rest are part of a red balloon series of pinholes that’ll group together in a later post.
These scans are made with my new V700 scanner, it’s awesome.
I’m pretty lazy at the moment about cleaning dust and scratches off the negatives, but when I really want to do something with them I’ll break out that beloved clone stamp.
If you have any questions about either my pinhole cameras or about the new scanner let me know.

Hey I’m just using black and white film paper in mine then scanning and inverting the images. I’m still working on the getting a knack for the exposure times but hopefully I’ll get it down sometime this week.
What are you using for the color?
Hey Ben thanks for the comment!
I use Kodak Portra 160vc for my color sheet film. It’s kind of expensive though… So I’m trying to switch to using a 120 medium format pinhole camera for my color shots.
For black and white pinholes I use Kodak TXP and am starting to try Foma Creative 200.
Good luck to you!
